The accessible location of ACS within the Pet Village allows owners of newly acquired pets to have them checked immediately after purchase. We screen for coronavirus, parvovirus and distemper, which are diseases that are highly contagious and prevalent in store-bought puppies, even before their symptoms manifest. Most pet stores have a return policy for pets which test positive for these diseases within a few days of purchase.
Animal Care Specialists (ACS) opened in 2005 and is located within the Pet Village section of Frontera Verde’s Tiendesitas, a shopping complex along C-5 road in Pasig City.
ACS offers general veterinary care services such as vaccinations, and internal and external parasite control & prevention. Our in-house diagnostic laboratory is equipped with an automated hematology (CBC) and an automated blood chemistry machine. Basic laboratory procedures like fecalysis, urinalysis and skin scrapings are routinely performed. The clinic also uses an ultrasound as its diagnostic imaging tool. Our licensed vets perform routine soft tissue surgery, including neutering and spaying, as well as dental prophylaxis and extractions.
